Sharebear Pet Care, LLC Policies

Office Hours: 12pm-6pm, M-F. Calls/texts/emails will not be responded to after 6PM. Text/email receives a quicker response and are preferred.


General Policies:

Sharebear Pet Care (SPC) does not job share (even with family) to avoid mistakes and miscommunication. It is also not covered under insurance policies. SPC must be the only person caring for animals/home.

No discount will be given for late departure or early arrival of Client than specified in Contract.

SPC does not offer dog walking.

​            Dogs must know basic commands (sit, no, off, leave it, potty training) and have a fenced in backyard that they can use safely.

            SPC is not responsible for Clients wanting to rehome their pets.

​            The utmost care will be given in watching both Client’s pet(s) and home. However, due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, SPC will not be responsible for any ordinary negligence  (i.e., furniture or floor damage, yard damage, illness, or accidental death of your pet(s), etc.) or any complications in administering medications to the animal. Nor can SPC be liable for injury, disappearance, or fines of pet(s) with access to the outdoors.

            If plant watering services are requested, SPC is not responsible for any plant injury or death.

Deposit Policies:

If booking a week or more before your service dates, a 50% deposit is due upon presentation of the invoice. The remaining balance is due before the first day of service. (Or you can pay 100% at presentation of invoice.)

If booking less than a week before service dates, 100% is due upon invoice.

**NOTE: Client is only guaranteed a spot on the schedule after deposit is made.  Deposit can only be made once Meet & Greet is completed.

Cancellation/Refund Policies:

Deposits (half of total price of cancelled dates) are 50% refundable for cancellations made at least one week in advance of service dates. (Meaning you get 25% of your total back). Please be sure of your dates!

Deposits will not be refunded for cancellations less than one week before service date.    

Refunds can only go back on your card if you chose to keep your card on file with SPC’s software. Other options for refund: CashApp, Venmo, Zelle.

Refunds will be issued within 3 business days.

Dates are non-transferable.

Emergency Policies:


EVERY client must have a completely filled out Veterinary Release form, including a credit or debit card number, in case of emergency and you can not be reachedHaving card on file with Pet Sitting software is seperate from Veterinary Release Form, as SPC can not access your card numbers through the software.

In the event of illness, injury, or personal emergency that prevents Sharebear Pet Care from fulfilling a scheduled visit, SPC will make every attempt to notify Client. In the event of a SPC emergency, it will be the Client's responsibility to find another caregiver. It is required that you have no less than TWO back up caregivers in the event of an emergency.  If possible, we will assist with recommendations.

If you are unable to be reached, keys/access codes/information will be surrendered to your emergency contact so your pet(s) can continue to receive care. We hope this policy rarely has to be used; However, SPC is a micro business with only one employee. In the event of a cancellation on behalf of SPC, the Client will be fully refunded for any days missed within 3 business days.

Special consideration : If you have not heard from SPC or believe there may be an emergency at home and cannot reach SPC, please call our emergency contact: David Graciano (Fiance)- (209) 480-8424.

Every Client must have a card on file with their veterinarian in case of emergency and Client can not be reached.

Sharebear Pet Care, LLC will act as Client’s agent in the event of Client’s pet needing immediate medical attention. Client will be responsible for all costs of any emergency veterinary care deemed necessary by a licensed veterinarian, as well as drive time and time spent at veterinary hospital. Additionally, Client agrees Sharebear Pet Care, LLC may take Client’s pet to an emergency veterinarian in the case of a life-threatening emergency and Client’s regular veterinarian is not available.  

If any injury is caused to SPC Sitter by Client’s pet or dangerous condition in Client home, Client is responsible for payment of any and all medical expenses incurred by or on behalf of SPC Sitter.

Drop-In Policies:

Drop-ins can be booked up to 2x/day. Available 8am-6pm only

Pets who require care outside of those hours must book an overnight (7pm-7am.)

All times of drop-in services are approximate. SPC uses 2-hour windows of time.

Cats require at least 1 drop-in/day, even with automatic feeders/litter boxes.

Security Policies: 

Any and all cameras inside the home must be disclosed to Sharebear Pet Care, LLC. No cameras allowed in bathrooms or sleeping rooms.  The SPC Sitter has a right to privacy. Any purposely undisclosed cameras will result in immediate termination of service with no refund, as well as immediate evacuation of Client's home.

A key is required to be given at Meet and Greet (even if you have electronic/remote entry); Otherwise, a pickup and/or drop-off fee will be added.

No video or still photographs of anyone working for Sharebear Pet Care while in or around Client's home may be used or any purpose without the specific written permission of SPC.

Sharebear Pet Care, LLC is not responsible for malfunction of any electronics on the property (alarm, remote entry, keypad, garage door, etc.). If Sharebear Pet Care cannot ultimately enter the home, Client will be notified, but that service slot may be forfeited. It is Client repsonsibility to make sure home is accessible to Sitter.

Communication Policies:

Client must notify Sharebear Pet Care, LLC of any concerns from the pet care within 48 hours of the last visit.

​            Client must enroll in Precise Petcare Scheduling website or app to book services with SPC. Through there, Client can create a pet profile, confirm all information SPC has on file is correct, get journals, schedule visits, and much more.

“Pet Journals” are sent after each drop-in visit. They include information about your pet(s) meals, watering,  potty habits, and general observations of the visit . It also includes a  photo of your pet from the visit! Communications will mainly be sent thought these journals.

“I’m Home”: As a courtesy, please let Sharebear Pet Care know when you are back home with your beloved pets, so we know they are back in your hands.

Possible Additional Fees/Add-Ons:

  • Holidays:

-Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day: 2x Drop-In Rate/Drop-In, Additional $40/Overnight

-4th of July, Thanksgiving Week (3 days before/after Thanksgiving), Christmas Week (3 days before/after Thanksgiving), Halloween, Valentine's Day/Weekend: Additional $10/Drop-In or Additional $20/Overnight
-Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Mother's Day: Additional $5/Drop-In & Overnight

  • Key Pick-Up or Drop-Off Fee: $25 (same as a 30-min rate)


  • Clean Out Litter Box (New Litter): $7+/cleaning, depending on condition of litter box


  • Clean Small Animal Cage (New Bedding): $7+/cleaning

  • Medication Administration: $2.50/administration


  • Full Yard Poop Scoop: $10+, depending on size of yard

  • Second Meet & Greet: $25 (New Pet M&G is complementary if you have already done a primary M&G and have booked services.)
